Taking pictures of people on the street is nerve-wracking!

Pictures from the first day of my Streetwork Photography workshop. Taking pictures of random strangers never gets less awkward! It took my 30 minutes to build up the courage to ask some lady if I could take pictures of her kids!
Good way to meet people though. I should just spend a day and go around asking all the hotties if I can take their picture.... Hmm?

I love my balcony.

I love my balcony! It's nice to just sit out and drink tea to the glow of horribly tacky christmas lights while sitting on that horribly uncomfortable chair. I really think it would be interesting to climb up on the roof, however... I could also die. Probably won't do it. If I do though I'll be sure to take some pictures ;)

I can't wait to start my Photojournalism course in the fall. And my Astro-photography workshop!!
Ever need an Astro-photographer, give us a shout sure!

Brick Wall

I've hit a brick wall in terms of this paper. Haven't looked at it all weekend, but I'm ahead of the game, so I don't feel bad.
There's something awesome about a nice brick wall - it's so classic or something.

Fire Hydrants

I should be editing a paper, but I honestly just don't want to. I spent the day outside (where it was lovely and temperate) and took some pictures of things. Good things too!
Sparks Street was madness with so many ethnic tourists. I don't know what it is about Ottawa - not that exciting!

Now there's some heavy rap playing off in the distance. I need to get back on track with this stupid paper. Who wants to hear about "Labour force challenges for petroleum workers in the Athabasca oil sands" anyway!

I keep meaning to go take pictures of a sunrise or a sunset... I'm just too lazy. We'll see how that plays out. I have a long list of things I want to take pictures of.

Here's some fire hydrants:
